Guide on how to create your new page on your blog like About, Contact us/me, Privacy/Policy, you are in the right place so get started.
1. Go to Pages in your Dashboard
2. Now go to 'New page' and select Blank Page.
3. You will reach a new screen where you can write like the way you are writing post.
4. Keep Title as About me and Write about yourself, also keep your Google profile link, you may or may not keep other social links like Facebook, Twitter Links. Finally click on 'Publish'
5. Similarly you may create Contact me and Privacy Policy pages.
In the 2nd step above, we created a Blank page, but we may also like to direct your visitor to some url. For that purpose you can select 'Web Address'
So just fill up Title and URL and click on 'Save'
Web Address is mostly used when you want to keep a Page that links to any Post or Category of your blog.
6. Go to Show Pages as and select 'Top Tabs'(if you want to keep pages on top) or 'Side Links' to show pages in side bar.
7. Finally click on Save arrangement and you are done.
Tip: Sometimes after following the 6th step, again It will show Don't show or Side Links even if you selected Top tabs, simple solution is, Go to layout, Drag-Drop the Pages from Side to Top. Check you blog now.
