Course code: POS 202. Course Title: Introduction to Political Analysis.
Instruction: Answer question ONE and any other three.

1a. Define the concept of Political Analysis.

2. Discuss the basic intellectual requirements of behaviouralism in Political Analysis.

3. Using group theory discuss the manifest characters of group dynamics in the recent Wukari crisis.

4. Identify and explain the practical procedures in data presentation and analysis of Political Aanalysis.

5. Using game theory discuss the political dynaics in the olitical gaing of the PDP and APC in the 2015 gubernatorial election in Taraba State.

2. Compare and contrast the similarities annd differences between Nigeria and Indian political systems.

Course code: POS 204. Course Title: Foundation of Political Economy.
Instruction: Answer question ONE and any other three.

1. With the aid of a diagram discuss Adam Smiths contribution to political economy in relation to his theory of division of labour and the circle of poverty.

2. Economic need is man most fundamental need, unless man is able to meet his need he cannot exist in the first pllace nor can he worship or do politics. Discuss this in relation to Karl Marxs explanation of base and superstructure.

3. Identify and discuss the laws of dialectical materialism according to Karl Marx relating them to the Nigeria political economy situation.

4. All societies according to WW Rostow must pass through five stages of growth before they are conssidered developed. Identify and discuss the stages.

5a. What is surplus value?
5b. Using the formular for calculating surplus value calculate the percentge of excess value of a worker whose output produce N3000000 for an organisation within seven month and earned N700,000.

6a. What is political economy?
6b. Succinctly establish the difference between the classical and Marxs political economy.
