TITLE:
Development of an Android Application for Real-time Measurements of Indoor and Outdoor Weather Parameters.

ABSTRACT:  
The main goal or objective of this project is to develop an android App which can be used for sensing weather conditions  through android phone. It allows people to directly check weather temperature without the need of a weather forecasting agency. With the advancement in the digital era, everything is going to be digital and hence the idea to read Indoor and Outdoor weather temperature directly on the android phone is proposed in this project. Every temperature change matters to human and nature. The availability of such App is extremely useful for human and nature.  Life will become much easier.


INTRODUCTION
This project has an immense in places where a little change in temperature matters. By just one click one will be able to know the weather temperature of Indoor and Outdoor. By Using this App one can easily be able to get the temperature conditions at one place easily . Once the App user Turned ON his/her internet data the current weather condition will be displyed on the App. Android phone is a Linux based operating system. Primarily it is designed for touchscreen mobile devices like smartphones and tablet computers. We are all very well known that Android has third party applications, which can be acquired by users either through an app store such as Google Play Store, Amazon App store, etc.


AIM AND OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT:
The aim of this study is to design and develop an Android Application (APP) that can be used in android base phone to measure weather parameters and conditions.
The Objectives of the study shall be to produce an App into Android App to;
1. Measure Indoor and Outdoor temperature
2. Measure Outdoor relative Humidity (in %).
3. Outdoor  Wind Speed (in m/s or knots).
4. Outdoor Atmospheric Pressure (in hPa - hectopascals).

Statement of the problem:
Weather forcasting information acquired by several e applications is sourced from weather satellites which provide information about a large area which could cover geographical sub-regions. The problem associated in relying on the data provided by such means;
Some weather measuring equipment are too expensive, Some examples are (Hygrochron  $225 ₦81000, Kestrel 5500 Pocket Weather Meter $390 ₦140400, Reed Channel Thermocouple Thermometer and Data Logger $180 ₦64800, Infrared thermometer). There are variety of weather mobile apps but don't have some features or functionality to satisfy users in order to provide accurate weather information. Inaccurate Forecast Prediction due to the collection of inaccurate data about a particular location within the geographical space being monitored the weather forecast prediction calculations will result in inaccurate results with some e-application. Faulty instruments cause bad records and consequently wrong forecasts.

HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS: 
1. Android mobile with a minimum version 2.2 above.
2. The processor is not less than 500MHZ.
RAM > 170mb.
3. SD card with a minimum of 512 MB.

MODULES:
1. USING GPS: we can know the weather through GPS in our mobile.

2. LOCATION BASED: We can know the weather at our precise or actual location

3. PREDICTION REPORTS: we can know weather forecast reports. This feature will be integrated soon

CONCLUSION:
The paper demonstrates a simple and low cost (Weather Station). The proposed Android Application can be used to sense weather condition using android phone which can be displayed on the android phone with the help of the App. The availability of such App is extremely useful for human and nature and  research centres. It can be used to sense the temperature in very less time without actually visiting weather station always. I have realise that Project or Research is about finding solution for some problem, that's why I have develop this App as my final year student project to provide solution for problem listed above.
