Windows 10: How to take a screenshot
Screenshots can be defined as the picture of what appears on your monitor. They are extremely helpful when you want to share interesting messages with others, ask an expert for troubleshooting or make an instructive article. This article will show you several ways to take a screenshot in Windows 10.
Method One of Two: Using the Keyboard Shortcut
1). Press ⊞ Win + ⎙ PrtScr to capture the screen. This way, you can capture a screenshot of the full screen.
2). Locate the screenshot. Go to the Screenshot folder in your Pictures library to see the screenshot you took.
Method Two of Two: Using Windows Snipping Tool
1). Search Snipping Tool. Click the Start Menu and type Snipping Tool in the Search box.
2). Open the Snipping Tool. When it appears on the search result panel, click it to open the application. This utility allows you to capture any specific region on your screen.
3). Click the drop-down arrow besides New. You will get four options to capture the screen and act upon: "Free-form Snip", "Rectangular Snip", "Window Snip" and "Full-screen Snip".
4). Select New to blur the screen and convert the cursor to +. Drag the mouse to select the area you want to capture. The clear part of the screen indicates the selected part.
5). Save the screenshot. Click Save or click File > Save as to store the screenshot on your PC.
